15 Feb The Hôpital footbridge over the A9 at Sion is complete!

176 metres long and weighing 608 tonnes, it was divided into five sections, each made up of several segments manufactured in our workshops in Bulle and assembled on site.

This new soft mobility footbridge, 🚴♀️ 🚶♂️ whose deck is made up of two lateral metal caissons supporting a mixed floor, crosses the A9 motorway between Sion Hospital, which is also one of our projects, and the Parking des Échutes.

Did you know ❓ The particular geometry of the sections making up this structure required extra care during the lifting manoeuvres, given the eccentricity of the centre of gravity of the parts, weighing up to 128 tonnes! 💪
